INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We need some information to support the functioning of our Services and to allow you to develop meaningful connections through them, in order to increase your social and professional opportunities; this is the reason why we ask you to provide your personal data, such as basic profile details, and more.
We may also collect information generated as you use our Services, for example access logs, as well as information from third parties, like when you access social media account you connected on GoPIB through our services.

Information you give us
You choose to give us certain information when using our Services. This includes:
When you sign up for our email list, we will collect your email address.
When you create an account, you provide us with at least your login credentials, as well as some basic details necessary for the Service to work, such as your email address and phone number.
These information are essential to create your profile: in the event you do not wish to enter these data, it will not be possible to complete your account;
When you complete your profile you share with us personal information (such as gender, date and place of birth, location, country, details on your personality), professional information (such as information about your job and your company) and additional information (such as skills, interests and other details about you), as well as other content such as photos. To add certain content, like photos, you may allow us to access your camera or photo album.
your information are also shared with other GoPIB users and with the public, according with the level of privacy set for each information (see section “6. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION”).
Some of the information you choose to provide us and to share with our Service may be considered “special” or “sensitive”, for example your racial or ethnic origins, sexual orientation, religious beliefs and political trend. It’s your choice whether to include sensitive information on your profile and/or to make that sensitive information public.
By choosing to provide this information, you give us your explicit consent to our processing of that information, according to art. 49 Regulation EU/679/2916 (so called G.D.P.R.);
When you subscribe to a paid service (such as Match-me, Basic Plus or Business profile), you provide us or our payment service provider with information, such as your debit or credit card number or other financial information.
No one will be able to see the credit card details.
For payment we do not store any information so whichever payment method user will select our website will redirect the user to payment gateway (paypal, stripe, debit or credit card) to make payment. During this process the third party payment will just verify the valid card and proceed for the payment. during this process we are not getting any card details. once the payment is done successfully we give the confirmation to customer;
If you contact our customer care team, rather than our legal department, we collect the information you give us during the interaction. Sometimes, we monitor or record these interactions for training purposes and to ensure a high quality of service.
You may upload, synchronize or import contact information from a device (i.e. Name, telephone number, email of the contact you have in your agenda); this would allow you to organize your contact using our Services and to invite them to join GoPIB.
Information we receive from others
In addition to the information you provide us directly, we receive information about you from others, including:
a. Other Users
Other users may provide information about you as they use our Services. For instance, we may collect information about you from other users if they contact us about you (for example, if other users report misconduct).
In addition, We may collect Feedback from other users about the information you insert on your profile, in order to improve the quality of our Services.
b. Social Media
You may be able to use your social media (such as Facebook, Linkedin, Whatsapp and others) within our website and app to interact with other users through your GoPIB account; for example, you may be able to use information from your social media to compile your profile, including links on your personal URL of each social media.
With your explicit consent, this allows you to share some information from your social media account with us.
c. Public Information
We may also collect information about you that is publicly available (for example on web search engines).
Information collected when you use our Services
When you use our Services, we collect information about which features you’ve used, how you’ve used them and the devices you use to access our Services.

We may collect information about your activity on our Services, for instance how you use them (e.g. your searches, your invitations and your connections, the events to which you wish to participate, the site from which you came and the site to which you are going when you leave our Services, date and time you logged in, features you’ve been using, clicks and pages which have been shown to you, referring web page address that you click on, how frequently you access the Service, whether you open emails or click the links contained in emails, whether you access the Service from multiple devices),
We may collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools, to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service and to understand more about the demographics of our users.
We may collect information from and about the device(s) you use to access our Services, including: hardware and software information such as IP address, device ID and type, device-specific and apps settings and characteristics, app crashes, advertising IDs, browser type, version and language, operating system, time zones, identifiers associated with cookies or other technologies that may uniquely identify your device or browser, mobile carrier, device type, model and manufacturer, mobile device operating system brand and model.
Other information with your consent
If you give us explicit permission, we collect your precise geolocation (latitude and longitude) through various means, depending on the service and device you’re using, including GPS, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connections. The collection of your geolocation may occur in the background even when you aren’t using the Services if the permission you gave us expressly permits such collection.
If you decline permission for us to collect your geolocation, we will not collect it, but our Services might not operate properly.
Similarly, if you consent, we may collect your photos (for instance, your profile photo).
As stated before, we may ask your consent to collect special categories of personal data (“sensitive” or “special” data), as your racial or ethnic origins, sexual orientation, religious beliefs and political trend: if you chose to provide this information, you give us your explicit consent to our processing of that information, according to art. 49 Regulation EU/679/2916.
Transfers of personal data to a third country
GOPIB may transfer your personal data to a third country. This may be necessary to complete software development operations, clouding or collection of data.
According to art. 49 G.D.P.R. by choosing to access to our Services you give us your explicit consent to our processing and transfer of that information.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION
The main reason we use your information is to deliver and improve our Services. Additionally, we use your information to keep your data safe. We do NOT sell any of your information to third parties under any circumstance.

To administer your account and provide our Services to you
More deeply, we create and manage your account, we provide you with customer support and respond to your requests, we complete your transactions and communicate with you about our Services, including order management and billing. We may also send you Service-related emails or messages (e.g. change or updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices).
We use or may use the data collected through tracking technologies to: (a) remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the Site or Service; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information (c) recognize and contact you across multiple devices.
To serve you
We communicate with you by email, phone or mobile devices about our products or services that we think may interest you, even with a newsletter service that keeps you constantly updated about our products.
You can stop receiving promotional email communications from us by clicking on the “unsubscribe link” provided in such communications. We make every effort to promptly process all unsubscribe requests.
To improve the quality of our Services and develop new ones
We take our users’ preferences seriously since we aim to offer the best service ever. For example, we can conduct research and analysis of users’ preferences to improve the quality of our Services and content and to develop new features and services, according to users’ feeds.
We use or may use the data collected through tracking technologies to(a) provide and monitor the effectiveness of our Service; (b) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, usage, and demographic patterns on our Service; (c) diagnose or fix technology problems; and (d) otherwise to plan for and enhance our Service.
To prevent, detect and fight fraud or other illegal or unauthorized activities
We perform data analysis to better understand and design the right measures against these activities and we retain data related to fraudulent activities to prevent against recurrences..

We comply with legal requirements, according to EU and national legislation.

Provide our Services to you
The main reason we process your information is to perform the contract that you have with us. For instance, as you go about using our Service to build meaningful connections, we use your information to maintain your account and your profile, to make it viewable to other users and recommend other users to you.
We may use your information where we have legitimate interests to do so. For instance, we analyze users’ activities on our Services to continuously improve our offerings (study new features and tool to make our apps and websites more user friendly, useful and easy to use according to users’ needs), we process information for administrative, fraud detection and other legal purposes.
We ask for your consent to collect you “sensitive” or “special” data and, moreover, to use your information for certain specific reasons.
HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
GOPIB is a sharing platform, with the purpose is to increase your social and professional opportunities, protecting your personal information. According to this, users’ information are principally shared with other users.
We also share some users’ information with service providers and partners who assist us in operating the Services and, when needed, legal authorities.
However, we do NOT sell any of your information to third parties, or extrapolate your data under any circumstance. Profile visibility is personalized.
With other users
You share information with other users when you voluntarily disclose your data on GOPIB services (including your public profile and the events you join through). Please be careful with your information and make sure that the content you share can comfortable be publically viewable since neither you, nor we, can control what others do with your information once you share it.
In order to let you easily decide or check how each information is shared on Services, we manage to create different levels of profile’s privacy:
: the profile is not accessible to anyone but you.
: profile information will be shared only with other users, chosen by you and listed in your personal favourite list;
: the profile information will be shared with all users to which you connect by sending or accepting a connection request;
: the profile information will be shared with all users which are Connections of your Connections;
: all your personal data are public and released to our website and, moreover, on common search engines (such as Google or Yahoo);
Level of privacy is automatically set as Public for most of information related to your work and your skills, whereas you can chose the level of privacy for almost all the other information of your profile, and change it in any time.
If you choose to limit the audience for certain content or information about you, then it will be visible on your Services according to your privacy settings.
Privacy Level of a large part of the information as indicated above can be changed at any time, however public information you previously shared with us might remain visible on the web outside of our Services.
With our service providers and partners
We use third parties to help us operate and improve our Services. These third parties assist us with various tasks, including data hosting and maintenance, analytics, customer care, payment processing and security operations.
According to art. 49 G.D.P.R., with your explicit consent we may share and transfer your information with partners outside the EEA for software, developing and clouding services.
We follow a strict vetting process prior to engaging any service provider or working with any partner. All of our service providers and partners must agree to strict confidentiality obligations.
When required by law
We may disclose your information if reasonably necessary: to comply with a legal process, such as a court order, Privacy national authorities, government/law enforcement investigation or other legal requirements; to assist in the prevention or detection of crime (subject in each case to applicable law); or to protect the safety of any person.
With your consent or at your request
We may ask for your consent to share your information with third parties. In any such case, we will clearly specify the reason why we want to share the information.
We may use and share non-personal information (meaning information that, by itself, does not identify who you are, such as device information, general demographics, general behavioral data, geolocation in de-identified form), as well as personal information in hashed, non-human readable form, under any of the above circumstances.
CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFERS
We ask you to give us your explicit consent for the processing of specific categories of your personal information outside the EEA (European Economic Area), according to art. 49 G.D.P.R.
According to applicable privacy law (G.D.P.R. and Italian law D.Lgs. 196/2003, as amended), GOPIB wants you the data subject to have the power to be in control of your own information.
In particular, at any time you have the right to:
Access / Update tools in the Service
Tools and account settings that help you to access, rectify or delete information that you provided to us and that is associated with your account directly within the service;
Delete your account by contacting us at BeYourWeb@GoPIB.com.
Review your information
You have the right to review the personal information we keep about you at any time (the so called “right of access”).
You have the right to obtain rectification of your personal data without undue delay where that personal data is inaccurate or incomplete.
You can always exercise your rights by formal request to our Data Controller.
Erasure your personal data (“Right to be forgotten”)
It is your right to obtain from the data controller the erasure of your personal data concerning without undue delay, where specific grounds applies;
Update your information
If you believe that the information we hold about you is inaccurate or that we are no longer entitled to use it and want to request its rectification, deletion or object to its processing, please contact our Data Controller.
In the European Union, you have a right to lodge a complaint with the appropriate data protection authority if you have concerns about how we process your personal information (in Italy “Garante per la protezione dei dati personali”). The data protection authority you can lodge a complaint with notably may be that of your habitual residence, where you work or where we are established.
For your protection and the protection of all of our users, we may ask you to provide proof of identity before we can answer the above requests.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
We work hard to protect you from unauthorized access to or alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information.
We regularly monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks and regularly review our information collection, storage and processing practices to update our physical, technical and organizational security measures.
According to article 34 G.D.P.R., when the personal data breach is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of our users, we will communicate the personal data breach without undue delay, providing you the following info: (i) a description of the nature of the breach; (ii) the name and contact details of data controller; (iii) a description of the likely consequences of the breach; and (iv) a description of the measures taken or proposed to be taken by the controller to address the breach, including, where appropriate, measures to mitigate its possible adverse effects.
If you choose to delete your account, all the information about you we collect will be completely deleted from our Services, generally within 30 days, except as noted below.
We may delete or anonymize your information upon deletion of your account or your specific request, unless we must keep it to comply with applicable law or the information must be kept for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing users' safety and security.
We keep your personal information only as long as we need it for legitimate business purposes and as permitted by applicable law.
According to italian privacy law (Art. 2-quinquies D.Lgs. 101/2018, that amended national Privacy Code) our Services must be restricted to users who are 14 years old or older.
In the event that we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a person under age 14, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from a child under 14, please contact us at BeYourWeb@GoPIB.com.
We will take the steps to remove that information from our servers.
